KCC

Years of conflict and the AIDs crisis have left many children destitute and homeless!

We are responding to this need by building a centre for at least 1,000 children.

We start with a 20 acre site, 10 miles west of Kampala. Many of the children will be from the war-torn northern Uganda.

The children are loved and cared for, given an education and equipped in the hope that they will go back into the community to work, or go on to university.

The Centre opened in September 2005 and now looks after 24 children, 12 in each house, looked after by a carer Mother.

The centre will include recreation facilities, a primary and secondary school and a medical centre.
